Nothing in Between – The Simple, Complicated Life of Hedy Lamarr is a musical monodrama about one of the most fascinating women of the 20th century. A Hollywood icon, an underestimated inventor, caught between fame and solitude -this performance unveils the contradictions in Lamarr’s life, telling her story beyond the glamour.

Janine Hickl brings Hedy Lamarr to life in a powerful blend of acting, storytelling, and live music. Accompanied by Bernd Leichtfried (piano) and Cäcilia Altenberger (cello), the show features a specially arranged selection of Wienerlied, chanson, and swing, reflecting key moments of Lamarr’s journey.
